I don’t know how many of you still check this news page. It’s been a while since I’ve updated both the new and the story pages.

I have received some comments wondering why I’ve not been able to post chapter updates like I had planned. The main reason is that my proofreader has been unavailable to work with me until recently, so I haven’t felt comfortable posting my new chapters until they could be properly proofread. In the mean time I have actually finished writing the text of the story and it is currently being proofed and revised.

Also I have some exciting news, Mike Elliott the illustrator who did the artwork for the story sight and all of my ads has agreed to do some chapter illustrations that will be released with the book version of Ages of Volerum, which everyone who has worked with me on the story is really excited about.

So I’ve been able to work out a regular schedule for working on writing new Ages of Volerum chapters, and you can look forward to seeing regular updates before the end of the month.

Also, we’ve been looking into the possibility of publishing the story as a book, and we are currently working on some bonus content to add for the book version. I should have more details on that about the same time we start posting new chapters.

Here are a few songs I’ve been listening to while writing recently. They are actually more reminiscent of sequel idea I’ve been working on, but more on that later.

While I have a handful of lovely readers, I don’t know how many of you check the news page, so I’m posting this news here.

Fall semester has started and I’m back in school along with my full-time job. This leaves me with heavy time constraints for typing and editing my story, so The Ages of Volerum will be on hiatus until next summer.

I just thought I would share the music that I listened to while writing the Siege of Laya.

This week’s update will be posted later today. I had the next chapter typed up and made my own revisions, but when it came time to have it proof read we got sidetracked, and decided postpone until after work today.

I’ve been working out a schedule for future updates, and for the time being I’m going to hold myself to posting a new chapter every Monday/late Sunday evening. So you can expect the next update on Monday the 24^th.

Also, like many other writers I enjoy listening to music to help set the mood while I write so from time to time I may post the music I listened to while writing and preparing the most recent chapter.
